Arts workshops for children and young people
Do you need to spend your budget before the next financial year? Nugent Education Ltd (Est 2006) will accept payments now for workshops delivered later in the year. We organise a range of creative, performing, urban and
visual arts workshops. So if you are looking to book arts workshops or courses
for your school, childrens centre or youth club (or party
entertainment) you have come to the right place. Our workshops and activities
are available throughout England and Wales.
Our CRB (DBS) checked and liability insured
workshop artists will travel to your school, centre, youth club or home to
deliver at your venue making it easier for you to arrange. Schools and
childrens charities (etc) consistently book and re-book our activities year on
year. The fantastic feedback and testimonials we receive (available on this
website) are testimony to the fact that we are a provider that you can trust.
Our full range of arts workshops and activities include as follows:
Our workshops are bespoke, so can be made suitable
for all ages (key stages) and abilities including children with disabilities.
Workshops are regularly provided for primary, secondary, private and special
schools. Also, arts activities are booked by childrens charities, youth clubs,
childrens homes, detention centres, childrens partys and more.
Schools often book arts activities for their school
arts week, after school activities (extra-curricular), pupil premium educational
workshops and curriculum enhancement. We have used educational arts workshops
to make curriculum areas more interesting and teach new skills and even to
revise. For example, we have used rapping workshops to revise for exams,
graffiti art as part of the art curriculum and mural painting to learn history
We also offer cultural arts workshops such as
Chinese dance, Japanese origami and African drumming. Arts workshops are a
terrific way for schools to engage, educate and entertain children.
Youth organisations often utilise our arts workshop
services for popular diversionary activities for children or teenagers,
Workshops such as graffiti art, rapping, DJ skills, street dance and break
dancing are particularly popular coming under the umbrella term of ‘urban arts
workshopsÂ’. Allot of children young people with learning or social and
behavioural challenges are also provided workshops, and we have artists
experienced in working with the full range of needs.
Arts workshops are also booked for kids partys and
adult party and corporate entertainment and workshops for adults with (or
without) learning difficulties. Todays
children are more sophisticated than in earlier times, and really engage with
the more interesting, unusual array of activities we offer.
Most workshops last from one and a half to two
hours, though we do provide full day workshops. Full day workshops are often
booked by schools that have us deliver three or four workshops in a day making
it more cost effective. We also offer full six session courses for workshops
such as film production, music production, large scale mural art and dance.
If you are a school, childrens organisation or
parent (or any other organisation) looking to engage, educate and inspire
children and young people (or adults), there is allot we offer that may be of
interest. With a plethora of great artists and a proven track record of successful
delivery, we are a provider that you can trust.
We prefer to work with a maximum of fifteen
participants per artist, per workshop. However, where required (often with
schools), we are prepared to work with class sized groups.
